Elbie Yaworsky Named New Executive Director of 3 Rivers Connect

PITTSBURGH – July 17, 2009 – Following a three month executive search process, 3 Rivers Connect (3rc) (www.3rc.org) announced today it has appointed Elbie Yaworsky its new executive director. Yaworsky, acting interim director since April 6th, was selected to lead 3rc, a Pittsburgh based regional nonprofit that empowers communities with informational insight that leads to action.

Yaworsky has served on 3rc’s Board of Directors since 2005 and brings an extensive and diversified technology, education and solutions integration background to the organization. His highly diversified career portfolio includes work with corporations and nonprofit entities serving the needs of many different constituencies. Most recently, he served as Global Director of Technology of Reed Smith LLP.
