Director, Strategic Initiatives & Development
As Director of Strategic Initiatives & Development for 3 Rivers Connect, Kevin develops, directs, nurtures, and promotes new ideas and technology initiatives for 3rc and its partners. He is responsible for progressing 3rc's mission through business development, program/project administration, partnership networking, and grant writing/management activities.
Kevin graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Environmental Studies and a Certificate in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) with a focus in Public and Nonprofit Management from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA). Kevin is also a proud graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh’s Leadership Development Initiative (LDI) Class XVI.
Kevin brings a unique skill set to 3rc combining 6+ years experience working in the private sector focusing on environmental engineering, planning, and GIS development for private, municipal, state, and national government clients with 3+ years of professional work in public and nonprofit management.
Kevin currently serves on the boards of the Carnegie Museum of Art, The Environmental Charter School at Frick Park, and Ten Thousand Villages Pittsburgh. He is also a member of the Steering Committee for the Mon Valley Providers Council and Advisory Committee for the YWCA Center for Race and Gender Equity.
